a plant of the pea family, with deeply divided leaves and tall, colorful, tapering spikes of flowers.
Lupins have to be my favorite flower, and I love flowers. Lupins scatter every inch of Newfoundland and Labrador in the summertime, and like the lupin I've got a lot of divided 'leaves'. OK, not 'leaves' exactly but you'll see what I mean.
I work full time at one job and extra hours at a second job (and now third job). Oh, and now I have a forth job/side gig making baby clothes (check out my shop - RuWa Designs) ! Life is busy - there is work, my friends and super duper boyfriend, exercising, my 100-year-old home that will never be complete, my amazing Bulldog, our Dutch Sheppard, our kitty, a close family and an avid social life. I find that whenever I can take a step away from the day-to-day running around to sew, paint, build, etc. life is a lot more enjoyable.
I have always had a little bit of a creative side but my career does not lend much to creative expression. I started blogging as a personal outlet, it kept me on-the-ball with my home-reno projects and allowed me to share what I was working on. Plus, I've been trying to dabble a little in photography and this helps me practice.
One thing you should know is that I am independent to a fault, I hate to ask for help and love to do things myself. As you'll see from this blog, if there is a possibility I can get something done myself I will.
I hope by reading you become inspired to find your creative outlet!
Thanks for tuning in!
